City Lights was produced by Carey Thring and written and directed by Ed Wiles.

City Lights won funding from Film London in 2015 and was selected by various festivals in 2016 and 2017, including LA Shorts Fest, Cleveland International Film Festival, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Cambridge Film Festival and London Comedy Film Festival (LOCO).
​City Lights also won Best Film in the 2018 Film the House awards.
